484-T: High Production Door & Jamb Machine

The "484-T" is designed for residential door shops that need a fast and rugged door machine for quickly pre-hanging 6'8" and 8'0" door units. The 484-T automatically machines the door and jamb in the same process, then predrills and applies the hinges in a precise and efficient process.

Six Shooter Hinge Applicator: The operator places a 3 1/2" hinge on the magnetic indexing fixture and aligns, and presses a button. The hinge applicator feeds all six screws and applies the hinge in approximately 6 seconds. This option saves the operator a tremendous amount of time and energy. The Six Shooter is custom built to match your particular hinge and screws. The Six Shooter comes with a quick dump hopper for easily changing screw colors or finish.

Eight Shooter Hinge Applicator: The operator places a 4" or 4-1/2" hinge on the magnetic indexing fixture and aligns, and presses a button. The hinge applicator feeds all eight screws and applies the hinge in approximately 6 seconds. This option saves the operator a tremendous amount of time and energy. The Eight Shooter is custom built to match your particular hinge and screws. The Six Shooter comes with a quick dump hopper for easily changing screw colors or finish.

Pistol Grip Screwfeeder: Automatically feeds hinge screws to the tip of the screw gun.  Includes a quick change bowl for easily switching screw color or finish. Each screwfeeder is custom built to match your particular screw size and shape.

1/4" Radius Hinge Routing: Includes programming and mechanical changes to machine 1/4" radius hinges.

Single Pre-Drill Unit: The operator moves the Pre-drill Unit to each hinge location and the pilot holes are drilled simultaneously with the press of a button. This unit can be built for a 3-1/2", 4" or 4-1/2" hinge. Quick change heads are available to quickly switch between hinge sizes.  The Single Pre-Drill Unit is custom built to match your particular hinge and screws. Pre-drilling helps eliminate the door and jamb from splitting while applying the hinge screws.

Automatic Pre-Drill System: Includes a pre-drill unit mounted to each router head. All pilot holes for hinges are automatically drilled in less than 5 seconds following the hinge routing process. The Automatic Pre-Drill System is built in to the cycle of the machine making it fast, efficient, and accurate while saving the operator time and energy. The Automatic Pre-Drill System is custom built to match your particular hinge and screw.

Hi-Frequency Routers: Industrial grade routers that are quieter and last longer that the standard DeWalt or Bosch Routers. This option will replace the standard DeWalt or Bosch Routers for the hinge routing on the front of the machine.

Double Sided Lock Bore: (Now Comes as Standars Feature) Additional lock bore unit is added so each door is bored automatically from both sides. Boring the door from both sides results in a perfect lock bore and eliminates blowout or splitting. This option also eliminates the need to change backup blocks and allows bits to be used longer.

Ball Catch Drills: Includes two complete units for boring the top of doors

for right or left hand ball catches. This is done during the normal cycle of the

machine to maintain the productivity of the door line.

 

Internet Service Package: This option allows the machine to be remotely accessed over the internet for troubleshooting.

 

Integrated Dust Collection System: 5 HP dust collection system with auto start.
